Students Get Ready to Rock IREAD
Last week, with the help of their teachers, school administrators, fellow students, and Big O the Oriole mascot, Avon's 2nd- and 3rd-grade students got ready to rock the IREAD test.
Students got to participate in assemblies at all six elementary schools last week. The purpose was to give them practical advice for preparing themselves to complete their state tests and to pump them up with confidence that they've done the work they need to do to succeed.
Our students at Cedar, Hickory, Maple, Pine Tree, River Birch, and Sycamore are testing this week and we look forward to celebrating the positive results with them!
