Your September '24 ALL Stars

Earlier this month, you had the chance to nominate any Avon Schools employee who embodies our mission: ALL belong, learn, and grow. In September, you nominated 83 individuals and we are sending your encouraging comments directly to them.

Here's just a sample of your comments:

• This teacher has helped and been kind to not only me, my family, my peers, and my friends, she has helped to make sure I have something to make my grade better and be happy with it.
• Her dedication and determination are inspiring to watch and be a part of. She is everything a SPED educator should be!
• She makes sure that all kids are taken care of academically, emotionally, and socially. She responds to the kids in a kind way even on the worst of days. She is 100% here for student growth and is the best teaching partner ever!
• He is our daytime custodian this year. He makes a huge difference with our students! He engages with them each day and listens to what they have to say. He goes above and beyond in making our students feel valued. He even anonymously donated money to a student of ours who recently became homeless. This is in addition to keeping our building spotless!
• 'No' doesn't exist in her vocabulary. She makes sure every need is met, and if it's not, she will find a solution.
• She has been the light at the end of the tunnel for us. Words cannot truly describe how much help she has been for my son and my family. ... I know that it’s her job, but she truly embodies what it means to love what you do and to be exceptional in your field.
• His class is one of the reasons my daughter wants to go to school. He creates a welcoming environment and pushes students to be their very best.
• She constantly strives to make connections with her students and makes learning accessible and fun.
