Meet Mrs. Moyers

Pine Tree Families, 

I hope that you and your child are excited for the start of the 2023-24 school year. There are many exciting changes ahead at Pine Tree. As you’ve driven by, I’m sure you’ve seen how the building expansion and renovation project has taken shape. We’re excited for that project to continue over the course of the school year. 

Another change that will occur at Pine Tree is the transition to a new Principal. We conducted an extensive search that included interviews with district administrators, Pine Tree staff, and Pine Tree parent representatives. I’m excited to share that the new Principal will be Mrs. Shelley Moyers. Mrs. Moyers has worked as an Assistant Principal in Avon for 20 years with her most recent experience being at Cedar Elementary. She is excited to get started at Pine Tree! We have scheduled a Popsicles with the Principal social for you and your children to meet Mrs. Moyers on Wednesday, July 26, from 5:30 – 7:00 pm in the Pine Tree Cafeteria.   

We can’t wait to welcome your children back to school on Thursday, July 27!
