Order a Sign, Honor an Educator

For $10, families can purchase a sign that will be displayed in front of the school buildings with messages of appreciation. The proceeds and encouragement will benefit Avon educators.

Attention, parents and caregivers of Avon, Avon All-Sports Camp will be offered again this summer to students who will enter grades 3-8 in the coming school year. Available openings at this popular camp fill quickly so be sure to register today.

Students and staff at Pine Tree Elementary got to enjoy an early taste of May in Indy on a chilly March day when Pine Tree parent and INDYCAR Series racing team member David Karcanes and 500 Festival Princess Luci Woodrum stopped by to visit.

A group of a dozen young men from Avon High School gathered early Thursday morning with Principal Matt Shockley, district administrators, civic leaders, business owners, religious leaders, and hundreds of good neighbors from across the county to participate in Men IN Action READ.

Students have a special opportunity to support innovation, creativity, and excellence in our classrooms by participating in Hats Off to AEF Day, Friday, March 8. Students who bring a $1 donation can wear a hat to school.

Avon’s kindergarten through sixth grade students have spoken. In August 2025, when AIS East and West open their doors as elementary schools, students will walk into Evergreen Elementary and Willow Elementary.

This summer camp, which is scheduled for June 17-21, is an excellent opportunity for students entering grades 1-8 to learn the fundamentals of musical theatre and experience all aspects of practicing, producing, and performing.

The Avon Town Council has declared Friday, December 15, Black and Gold Day in honor of Avon High School's 2023 National Blue Ribbon School award and the Avon Marching Black & Gold's fourth Bands of America Grand National Championship. Celebrate with us!

Parent-Teacher Conferences a Success

Last spring, district leaders amended the 2023-24 school year calendar to include dedicated space and time for conferences to occur on two afternoons in September. We surveyed parents and educators about the experience and here is what they said.
